A spelunking we will go... and did!

This past weekend's spelunking adventure may have been our best yet. Positive & exciting comments resounded from many of our crew member throughout the entire weekend.
Thanks to all who came along on this wonderful trip.
     Enjoy the photos!

Lunch outside the caverns to fuel up before the journey.

Never drop a peanut butter sandwich. (that means you Vince)
A quick orientation and group photo before we begin.

The descent begins.
We work our way though the more common areas which have lights.
Now our group is getting into the lower / less traveled areas of the caverns. Our only light sources from here on out are headlamps and flashlights.

We begin climbing over rocks and will continue to as we continue down the inside of the mountain.
Some areas are extremely tight.

Some 'rooms' were large enough for our group to gather.

Here Mr. Z watches (and provides some light) as two of our group inspect a small hole they must crawl through to proceed. Mr. Z also watches out for small mystical creatures bearing arms. Thanks John!

Single file was usually the best way to climb with a known leader and trailer to ensure out whole group makes it.

Our entire group together inside the mountain. Thanks to our rockin-cool guide Roland for taking this photo and showing us a great time!
At our campsite in Ohiopyle tents were set up and dinner was prepared.
It's always a good idea to count how many things you are cooking.. just in case you might forget.
It's also good to count how many people are in the front of a photo eating food when you happen to be in the background. Nice work Zak!

Campfire stories of the day while cooking pies. Bliss!
A quick stop at the natural watersides in Ohiopyle before heading home.
